MDBA welcomes new BCC members

The Murray–Darling Basin Authority has appointed six new members to the Basin Community Committee (BCC) which will connect Basin governments with new local input to strengthen decision making.

All 15 members of the BCC will represent their communities and interests across the Basin, offering independent advice that will support the ability of the MDBA and partner governments to make informed decisions on a wide range of Basin water resource, environmental, cultural and socioeconomic matters.

The new members appointed for 3-year terms are:

  • Mr Andrew Drysdale (Top Camp, Queensland)
  • Mr Mike Gilby (Irymple, Victoria)
  • Mr Warren Jacobs (Mt Compass, South Australia)
  • Mr Feli McHughes (Lightning Ridge, New South Wales)
  • Ms Emelia Sudholdz (Horsham, Victoria)
  • Ms Alice Williams (Orange, New South Wales)
